IRONY OF MOST POPULATED INDIAN PROVINCE

Most Populated Indian State of Uttar Pradesh  is  badly suffering from extremely unholy  alliance  of  Criminal Politicians of ruling party and some corrupt  Police  officials as their henchmen are crudely running brutal extortion rackets, the victims are  helpless defenseless technocrats, IT  professionals and business men. The ordinary citizen is direct or indirect victim. As a result all the businesses and industries are going  to  other parts of India or other parts of world. This rampant criminal politician and police nexus is strangulating the state of Uttar Pradesh (UP). 

Media including CNN has reported poor people are selling their daughters and wives in Uttar Pradesh this is very disturbing and tarnishing for not only Uttar Pradesh but also for whole of India.

 Our research has established, Uttar Pradesh is having all required potential to emerge as prosperous IT hub and Pharmaceutical hub of India.

The capital city Lucknow is well known for its culture, etiquettes, manners, very sophisticated communication skills of soft speaking and listening.  Ideally Lucknow could have emerged as IT hub particularly Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) where Gurgaon, Pune, Banglore, Hyderabad and Chennai are dominating while Lucknow is no where on the scene. 

Prestigious Industrial research institutions such as Central Drug Research Institute, Industrial Toxicology Research Institute, National Botanical Research Institute and Sugar cane research Institute are in Lucknow.  

Ideally Lucknow could have been hub for Pharmaceutical Industry but again its share is dismal.

The real culprit for the sorry state is brazen manipulation of law by criminal politicians. Many NRI’s want to invest back their money as well as their expertise at their native place but afraid of  criminal politician extortionists assisted by extremely corrupt shameless police officials. There are instances that NRI’s when returns with intention to serve motherland are trapped by  ruling party criminal politician /extortionist plus Police.  

Some people  particularly  NRI’s wonder whether  Uttar Pradesh become worse than Somalia, the reasoning is  as below: 

1.     Somali pirates are honest to the agreement when agreed money is paid the victims are released,  pirates did not come up with new demand while ruling party criminal extortionist in Uttar Pradesh come up with new demand once earlier demand is met, when second demand is met then they come up with third demand and it becomes endless cycle. 

2.     Somali Police do not work as puppet of  pirates, while Uttar Pradesh Police is alleged to conspire in  extortion rackets including murder of Technocrats if they can get him otherwise register fake/ absurd/ bogus complaint to raid the probable locations to hunt down the victim. 

3.     Somali pirates normally treat well their victims While Uttar Pradesh extortionists are very brutal. 

4.     Criminal Politician extortionist are very brutal to Senior Engineers whether serving and retired. Executive Engineer Manoj Gupta was given electric shocks, razor blade cuts and severe beating resulted in his death. While Somali pirates show respect to Senior Engineers.  

5.     Somali pirates give some social justification for their crimes, saying that excessive fishing by International trawlers has diminished their livelihood and forced them to resort to piracy, while criminal politicians and police do not have any reason other than greed.

We can give the example of Executive Engineer Manoj Gupta who was abducted from his residence in GAIL Vihar government colony at Oraiya and tortured to death with active connivance of Police.

 Another retired Executive Engineer S. G. Ali who belongs to noble family of freedom fighters was forced to leave the Lucknow when his well educated ex NRI son S. Mohd Surur, certified  from Microsoft Inc. USA returned to serve the country and take care of his ailing father in his seventies is trapped by Intizar Abidi, criminal turned politician now having  state ministerial rank Ganna Sansthan Chairman who extortioned 7.2 million through cheque and two and half million rupees in cash in several stages, when one demand is paid he asks for next demand in the endless cycle of extortion.

Intizar Abidi keep on demanding money, when Surur complained to high officials of Police, initially they promised to help and asked Intizar Abidi to further stop criminal intimidation and threat to murder. But Intizar Abidi with connivance of  low level Police official fake complaint against Surur was registered, and those higher Police official who initially sympathized with Surur were shied away under political influence of Intizar Abidi. As per Surur he has given Indian Rupees 72 lakhs (7.2 million) by cheque and 25 lakhs (2.5 million) cash total ninety seven lakhs ( 9.7 million)  and Surur is badly indebted he was forced to take loan on his apartment near city station and his ancestral house known as Chowdhry House in Aminabad Lucknow.

 Worst Irony is Retired Executive Engineer S. Ghazanfar and his son S.Mohammad Surur were supporters of ruling BSP Party and tried hard to seek justice by approaching the office of Chief Minister and top Police officials of her Government. Initially it was thought that Chief Minister herself and government machinery is busy in National parliament elections therefore they could not  give attention to complaints but after waiting for long time and several reminders the hopes are shattered.

So far Intizar Abidi has claimed and proven that all the roads are blocked to seek justice and establish truth in Uttar Pradesh.

The efforts done by ex NRI, Mohd Surur and his retired Executive Engineer father are as below.

Mohd Surur met Director General Police, Mr. Vikram Pratap Singh he send him to meet Additional Director General Police Mr. Brij Lal.

 Mr. Brij Lal listened to the problem and further directed to SSP law and Order Mr. Raghuweer Lal who had called  Intizar Abidi  and his brother Ishtiaq Abidi on his mobile. Both Intizar Abidi and Ishtiaq Abidi reached along with their personal body guard Rinku Singh.

 After three hours meeting in afternoon of 17^th March, 2009, SSP Raghuweer Lal concluded at 6 PM, now onwards Intizar Abidi will  not threaten to Surur and some part of extortioned money also to be returned. But after three and half hours later registered  a fake / bogus complaint with Thakur ganj police station of attempt to murder was lodged by Rinku Singh ( armed guard /Shooter) who was present in SSP office compound outside the chamber of  SSP when meeting was taking place.

 On 18^th March, 2009 again Surur approached SSP Raghuweer Lal but now he was cool and it looks was neutralized through higher pressure.

 Surur his father and his family has approached all available avenues including National Human Rights Commission, Child protection commission, Chief Minister Office and many authorities.

 While National Human Right Commission took up the matter  and asked Uttar Pradesh Police to provide protection and  register his, which Uttar Pradesh Police did not comply.

 The information sought from different offices of Police seeking different information  under right to information act has resulted in evasive same answer for all the applications which  suspect that answers of Police are dictated by criminal politician Intizar Abidi.

 Dozens of e-mails are send to officials including Chief Minister and GOOGLE Weblog created on 21^st April, 2009 but no response received from Uttar Pradesh Officials instead on fake and ridiculous FIR the ancestral house was qurqed while apartment in Surur’s name but in possession of Intizar Abidi is not touched.  

Surur and his father has requested for  enquiry by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), it may be noted that CBI is premium investigation agency of India known for its professionalism and conviction rate of 95% while  Uttar Pradesh Police is  having approx 3 or 4 %  conviction rate. Many real criminal cases are not registered while fake criminal cases against innocent victims are registered and helpless victims are chased ferociously as mentioned above.  

The present Chief  Minister Mayawati came to power on slogan of fearless society, initially he took some bold steps against criminals.  It is very unfortunate that some active member of her own party are trampling the law of land and making Uttar Pradesh comparable or worse than Somalia.

 Due to reasons mentioned above crime graph is rising contributing to unemployment and poverty Uttar Pradesh is further sinking this vicious cycle. 

We request to make and declare a policy that, if any person accused in criminal case  claim that he is falsely framed by Police and  seek CBI enquiry then CBI enquiry must ordered to prevent framing of innocents.

 Those Police officials who connived in criminal conspiracy must be dismissed from service and their masters criminal politicians should be   dealt as per law of land.

 Uttar Pradesh population deserves a decent prosperous lifestyle we can deliver it. We need to prevent slide of  law and law order it is killing the prospects of citizens particularly youth and pushing the province towards failed state, the nexus of corrupt police officials and criminal politicians is like cancer which is spreading fast.

 It is our duty to fight this cancer.
